IB Roofing Fire Resistant
A normal IB roofing installation includes the IB membrane as well as the underlayment (IB FireSheet 10). This roof system is rated as a Class B system.
To upgrade the system to a Class A system you have 2 options: add one extra layer of underlayment, OR install one layer of roof board (DensDeck).

To summarize:
Class B roof system: IB membrane + one layer of IB FireSheet 10
Class A roof system (option 1): IB Membrane + 2 layers of IB FireSheet 10
Class A roof system (option 2): IB Membrane + 1 layer of DensDeck roof board (no FireSheet 10 needed)Class B: 1 layer of fire sheet underlayment.
